Feeling held hostage in my own home too
It’s untrue what you say — I’m so-called genuine
Thanks for your kindness today, but where have you been?
I exist for a purpose…
I still feel hopeless…
I’m making little progress
I feel rather helpless…
Held hostage at home all the time

The society I live in
Is full of insanity
Again, what I’m feelin’
Is filled with misery
Held hostage at home

Away from home…
That’s where I roam
Caving in, this depression is caving in again
Feeling captivity for being left behind it seems
