Growl
Grasp at life
Flushed out in full flight
Wind's wild moaning warmth
Frisks it, whisked
Up
From fist clench
Fingers curled tense- tight
Unfurl hurts
Gasps
Of air rasped
Hoarse sounds break from husk
Gutted heart
Thumps

Aqua Marine Date: 12/11/2019 11:55:00 AM Paul, thank you so much for your sensitive observation - yes, feelings can be fierce, anguish and unresolved pain can make us almost become "primal" - the most basic human need to survive might drive us a little "crazy" for a while, especially if we feel overwhelmed, or cornered. Not all will understand the need to write from gut instinct. I have resolved many things, and the feeling of inner peace is more a reality for me now. And I can still write intensely about what is close to my heart...
