Notes About The Poem

Fog On the Horizon

fog on the horizon -
the ocean immensity
hidden from view

fog on the horizon -
I anticipate her beauty
when she lifts the veil

fog on the horizon -
the soft prelude leading
to a sunrise suite

We had some of that fog yesterday. Some places in our lovely state there was zero visibility. Enjoyed reading your work describing the lovely damp condensation that happens from time to time. Thanks for the visit to my page. Sara

Paul, Your words in your haikus touch me deeply . A visceral mystery unveiling itself . I have been on a dingy at sea gazing out over the fog and immense expanse. It is magical . Wishing you and yours a happy healthy holiday . Hugs, Susan :)

Paul: So eloquent - especially the middle haiku. How many bridegrooms have lived that moment. Taking this opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas. Hugs, SuZ

My favourite form of poetry. Living near the ocean I can see how beauty emerges when the veil of fog lifts. Nicely done Paul...Delice
