Dripping words
Dripping words ooze alike golden honey
When someone's world is saddened with worry
Poetry may offer quiet release
For those who seek strength and calm inner peace.
Poets cannot foresee fear or the dread
Inside hearts of whom their poem is read
If only they knew how words can inspire
Peace deep inside those whose world became dire.
Poetry stirs emotions lying low
Held inwards with nowhere for them to flow
Poems are indeed truly precious gifts
In hearts of poets, and those they uplift.
Whenever feeling lonely or upset
Go ahead, read aloud from a poet's text
You will feel better, it's a guarantee
Words written with love, sent to you from me.
