Dare I Touch

A tiny thread that weaves through
this tangled and mangled mystery,
              called life

     - hoping to reach you


Fragile . . .  
        the heart of me

               
 Will unwinding what I find,
underneath broken pieces and strife

      leave me broken,
                 in pieces too?  

Dare I touch - 
       gently tug upon the string,
                 of everything
            you’ve been through

      
    -  in hopes to touch you

This poem hit me in a peculiar way: one part shy, and one part seductive (also compliments that photo quite well). Words aside. I like the look of the poem and the way it's organized with the different fonts and spacing. Few people put a lot of attention on the aesthetics and visual appeal; you, on the other hand, go that extra mile. I wonder where that string might lead?
