Cheerful

Cheerful

Bright
Yellow
Radiance
A Spring Sonnet
Twirls in pirouettes
Of merriment and mirth
Tossing petals of sunshine
Into the musty sepulchres
Sparkling splendor borrowed from the stars
Smiles frolic in spontaneous giggles.

Dearest Inky, sending you prayers for your continued healing! I am so sorry to hear that you've been unwell. Your message warmed my heart like discovering a playful yellow sunbeam on a cloudy morning. I am so glad that it brought you joy! With all that is shaking our world to its very core the theme of this contest was a breath of fresh sunlight. I felt such happiness writing it. Thank you for sharing in the joy of yellow! Can't wait to read your etheree. I know it will be spectacular, dear friend. Sending you blessings! Samzy!

Hi Lasaad! Your messages are always so uplifting to me, like a bright yellow spring flower. Yellow is indeed "infectious" in the best sense of the word. It is like capturing a bit of sunlight. Somehow, even when writing more serious poems a sense of "yellow" creeps into the poem. I guess I just can't help myself! Thank you for noticing and encouraging me! And, I so agree, positivity is "contagious!" Sending you blessings of light! Cheers!!

I Gary! Just stopping by to thank you for your wonderful feedback. I find it so easy to get bogged down in our "troubled times" that focusing on something "cheerful" is so healing. Thank you for sharing in this small moment of positivity! Cheer and blessings!
