Bird's Nest

In the unpretentious backyard Of my house— not a home, Bloomed a bird's nest Concealed concernedly In the benevolent branches Of the dear aged tremulous tree. When I noticed the nest nearly, House felt like a home dearly, I noticed the humble hatching Of the birds— Life lustrously levitating Out of a shattering shell Of an emaciated egg. How gentle squeaks Filled the surroundings Slowly and sincerely, My heart hissing Gratitude for great glory. Now, they are a week old, Surely, soon, they will fill Their wings with their First flight From my backyard Amply, they'll be gone long And I'll still be a basic bard While they'll be reaching The racing clouds. I know not the name, I know not their kind, I tried searching, But I couldn't find The name of the birds That are taking shelter And bedazzling My rudimentary backyard. How artistically Nature wonderfully works— Blooming and dying, Escalations and sorrows, Falling and flying, Yesterdays and morrows.

This is such a tender and reflective piece, one that quietly blooms with emotion, just like the bird's nest it describes. There's something incredibly moving about how you've captured the transformation of a simple backyard into a sacred space of life, growth, and quiet miracles. Lines like “Life lustrously levitating / Out of a shattering shell” are both vivid and deeply symbolic, showing how something delicate can carry immense beauty and meaning.

Dear anne, how deep is your poem and your words they speak volumes of life and cycle of time and more, seasons and nature depict and is a reflection of what we are also within. And all our life experiences, as youv said in your last lines there: and i must also highlight the lines "Surely, soon, they will fill Their wings with their First flight From my backyard " ah the hope there, and knowing! and i too think " Escalations and sorrows, Falling and flying, Yesterdays and morrows." As we have so many birds. Their screams ( mostly) cus macaws scream alot haha awaken my senses and remind me of life: pleasure reading you today! Sending you light always

Yes, they'll be gone when yearlings. Just need to ask google the right questions, what are the local birds in your city? Start there. Great poem, with great story telling Anne. I've observed as well, those nests are attacked when mom's away by the cannable crows!

Dear Anaya, since I couldn't find their names, I decided to name them myself. I hope the crows will stay away from my little friends. Thank you for your lovely note. Best, Anne

I have a birdhouse just outside my window. It's fun watching a new bird build a nest in it every year. Also the fighting over it is humorous. Nice poetic observation Anne

Dear Tom, that's so sweet! I can imagine how fun it must be to have your own personal bird soap opera right outside your window! Thank you for reading my poem, my dear friend. Best, Anne
