So many stories to write. So little time. So with life. So much lovely wonder to glimpse. So little time to wander. So much love, unconditional and conditional. So many blessings beyond merit.
Love is truly a blessing no matter who you are, and where you are. Love is the universal healing energy that makes life a wonderful experience. Love is the answer that makes the most sense — logically, emotionally, physically, metaphysically and spiritually.
That’s probably why we have a day set aside especially to remember the awesome power of love. On Valentine’s Day, we set aside our petty differences and make time to remember the magic power of love, lovers and dreamers, and everyone else in-between the entire spectrum of humanity.
To have a dream come true requires that you must first start with a dream. So here’s to all sorts of love in full bloom. From love between a man and woman, to love in a family, to love between parents and children, to love between siblings, to relatives and friends, to communities, to nations and the entire world.
Love is a cosmic treasure beyond measure. So, especially today, on Valentine’s, I offer many thanks to my dearest darling wife and companion of my days, Ann. For being the best friend that makes my life a miracle unfolding.
Many thanks to my son Michael for the privilege to be your father. Many thanks to my daughter-in-law Clara for completing the family circle and being such a joy. And to my friends and relatives who bring more meaning than I can ever acknowledge.
Thank you to one and all who have shaped so many of my attitudes towards the idea of love, empathy and compassion. In return, I offer my love and gratitude for your loving presence and kindnesses throughout the passage of time as I know it to be. May your days be filled with as many blessings as you have showered upon me.
