The secret garden. A story of life

I watched the secret garden again this morning, it is one of my favorite stories and it makes me want to create a secret garden of my own. Maybe I will slip into the woods and plant some shade loveing bulbs here and there just to make those future explorers wonder about how they got there. In contemplation of my life, I suppose that I already have a secret garden that I have cultivated over the years. A garden of flowers and trees and bushes along with thorns and weeds, which were seeded by the people and experiences of my life. The flowers and trees and bushes are strong, beautiful and sweet while the thorns and weeds are chaotic and entangeling. The flowers, bushes and trees bring me joy and peace and tranquility and feed my heart. The thorns and weeds though they be ugly and tiresome and painful give me berries and healing herbs of experience and feed my soul.
