The Magical Black-Eyed Appearance

Despite sporting a black-eyed appearance this was Susan’s special day. Committed to standing fast and firm in obtaining her dreams no matter what the conditions were in the town deemed ‘marry land' the go getter tried to be realistic playing a role in a simplistic lifestyle, avoiding heading back in the woods out of the money.

“I have a nice allowance,” she mumbled under her breath, “this is great for a three-year-old, but I want to move upward.”

As the day proceeded in terrapin fashion Susan finally pushed away the covers and found the energy to get up. This spark directed the young girl to the mirror and started reflecting about a backup plan.

“My wonderful eager eyes,” reminded her inner soul, “I should be able to make a buck with these,”

Noticing the clock was ticking towards the noon hour Susan decided to get dressed up and accepted the personal dare challenge to wear the leather ensemble hiding in the closet.

Going outside she collapsed in the porch swing where she stared into nowhere until on cue a swirling wind disrupted the tranquil setting. When everything settled a gentlemen like human statue appeared, “My name is Prince Pere and I have a show in a place called Detroit City,”

Susan pointed in the direction while listening to the plight making Prince Pere peer down the rural road and in his mind an idea was conjured up.

Climbing the wooden stairs creaking due to age Prince Pere took a serious observation and Susan’s image triggered an honest decision to offer the early morning breakfast to afternoon delight persona into his evening activity.

“Heading to Detroit City for an entertainment contest,” the Prince continued.

Still defending her turf Susan listened believing the tale being spun, “I am impressed,” Susan generated a courtesy compliment.

“Your Black-Eyed stare could make a fortune,” the Prince added, “think about it if you join me on this journey, well, we could take our shot and be a winner.”

Smiling graciously Susan accepted the offer and the two traveled the dusty path towards the opportunity knocking.

Later in the evening the two were sitting inside a booth at the Motoring Car Hop known for its unbelievable talent search results. Deciding to speak up the Royal's marketing chip said, “all these people seem to have a good three, four or maybe even five years' experience,”

“Yeah, I know,” the Prince replied, “it is utterly courageous to be in this show.”

Starting to have a nervous cringe Susan presented the profitable smirk, “once a magical juggle nicknamed ‘the King’ who shaked, rattled and rolled, but when his maiden started claiming that he had foul balls, well”

“Well, what?” Susan wanted more information.

“The King was out of the money!”

Not needing a drink Susan gulped, “I would never do that to you my Prince,”

A scream then bellowed, “run Raegan run and you be a winner to someone someday.”

Watching the server work the dish routine the Prince and his new assistant kindly greeted her, “your name is Raegan?”

“Yes,” her quiet voice responded.

“Do you sing?” the Prince kept the conversation going,

“Yes,”

Then it hit the leader in a second, “I can make you the Saint Eros Girl,” he pointed to Susan,
And you simply put, ‘Raegan’”

Now emptied handed Raegan slid into the booth next to Susan, “you mean it?”

“Yes,” the Prince confirmed, “Susan’s black-eyed look and your voice, well,”

“Well,” Reagan repeated.

“Well,” the Prince paused before shouting back to the cook,” Raegan is no longer running she is a winner and with us.”

Seeing the culinary creator wave back the Prince returned to his entourage feeling confident that Detroit City and the Motor Car Hop still had a one way to success GPS map that was programmed for his needs.
