The Fishing Village

Clutching a blanca rose given by the King of Spain Lady Magna pressed forward into the personal quest to find out as much information she could about the disappearance of a young girl from her village named Eliza.

While snooping around Lake Narac in Belarus the last place the girl was seen she decided to take a rest stop and suddenly appearing was a Motel. When she entered the registration office a young man was standing there behind the bell.

“Welcome,” he exclaimed, “I am Nyoman Bat and you,”

“Lady Magna,” she answered, “and I am looking for a room, do you have any vacancies?”

“We are in the middle of ice fishing and regular fishing season so I have plenty of rooms,”

They both exchanged things, Lady Magna gave him a plastic card that knew how to do currency change while Nyoman handed the visitor a key, when the friendly transaction was complete, she headed to what was purchased by signing her name.

Safely in her room the royal fell onto the bed and her lights were out immediately.

Nyoman was having a midnight snack at the eating establishment that was in the Motel’s parking lot when Naak and Nadim two of his high school friends entered looking for the reason why Lady Magna was masquerading as a tourist in Lake Narac.

“What was that maiden claiming,” Nadim asked their scholastic friend who was happy just doing a job.

“I just let her buy a room for the night, no other information was exchanged,” He was very honest. When the two took seats next to Nyoman things started to get serious, “who was she?” Nyoman inquired.

“It was that girl who was here months ago,”Naak started, “Eliza was her name.”

“Yeah it was Eliza’s hope to come to our lake with plans of mining for pearls,” Nadim continued.

“We thought she was just a summer duck who needed a golden goosed.” Naak started to confess,

“You did not give a foreigner a golden goosed?” Nyoman peered at his classmates who looked worried.

Sitting back in their chairs they felt very guilty, “it seemed funny when she came here looking for riches, we gave her a song and dance,” Naak was recounting what happened.

“Then she was splashing for gold in the lake and we panicked,”

Still having a strong grip on the blanca rose Lady Magna emerged from the darkness, “So should I demand ransom for you three.”

They all peered at the European figure, “For starter I have the option to make any claiming,” she said in a serious tone to the youngsters whose life was just starting out.

“Secondly, Eliza’s parents made many wrong turns in life and were taking into custody before I came here by the country of Spain,” she reported, “and she was not here to mine for pearls, she was up to no good.”

Placing the blanca rose next to the Grand Slam breakfast special Lady Magna left the restaurant, “Secondly, I wanted you to know that I was not snooping, I have the rights and privileges to search for information so thank you for letting me know what happened,” she told the kids, “we will now be able to move forward so those who are not up to no good can fish for gold.”

The three watched the door shut shaking in their boots thinking where this restaurant got the fish that was on page 6 of the menu.
