Part 1
Hopes and Dreams

Two people met and fell instantly in love
Like a thunderbolt from the sky above
They sealed their fate one sunny day
As bluebirds chased their blues away.

Rainbows adorned the sky of blue
A nod of approval for love so true
They fell into each other's arms
Exploring one another's charms.

As hopes and dreams became reality
Two hearts were as happy as could be
Now their love they could declare
To show the world how much they care.

That eureka moment when they first met
Was a moment they would never regret.

Part 2
Like Never Before

She felt something stirring
gently warming her heart
She'd never felt beautiful
till he held her in his arms.

Like the unfurling of an alluring rose
gradually her inner radiance glowed
With her spirit starting to soar
all inhibitions flew out of the door.

Heavenly kisses, so divine
sweeter than any grape on the vine
Gentle embraces, tender looks
loving had never felt this good.

All of her senses were set on fire
as she reached the very heights of desire
Hours felt like minutes as time ticked away
savouring each moment of this wonderful day.

They had found the golden key
that unlocked her heart setting it free
Releasing the love stowed inside
now it would have no place to hide.

As if by magic
the years melted away
Never feeling lovelier
than she did on that day.

At last she had found
all she'd Longingly sought
That day she knew love
like never before.

Part 3
Burning for You

You taught me how to love you
By pulling my heart strings
Showed me life was worth living
In spite of everything.

You've shown me how lovely love is
How wonderful it is to care
To make someone happy
Goes way beyond compare.

Loving till your arms ache
As night turns into day
Giving all of your love
In whatever, which way.

This flaming heart will never be blue
As long as it keeps burning for you.

Part 4
Saying it All

It was like a drama played out on a stage
Who'd have thought I'd find love again
Life was contented, nothing wrong
Then Prince Charming came along.

He was the nicest man I'd ever met
My head was turned by the things he said
I felt so special, loved and complete
Truly I was swept right off my feet.

I was besotted, it felt so right
Filling my mind by day and by night
When we kissed my heart did explode
Electrifying from head to my toes.

As we danced I melted in his arms
A man of distinction and great charm
Walking in moonlight he'd softly sing
My heart taking off like a bird on the wing.

We were good together, there's no doubt
I don't know how the end came about
One minute he's there, the next he's gone
Now I'm on my own, a sad lonely one.

Time to close the curtains on romance
I know there'll be no second chance
There is no contact, no curtain call
Only a slow handclap, 'that says it all.'

Part 5
The Last Waltz

Star light, Star bright
Shine just for my love tonight
My foolish heart goes on dreaming
Without my love, life has no meaning.

I'm wishing upon a star
My love will seek me from afar
And come back to me someday
To dance the last waltz whilst we may.

We'd build a cosy nest for two
Doing all the things we like to do
Rambling, embracing the scenery
Romance, music and poetry.

Happily spending hours of bliss
Tenderly sharing many a kiss
If only dreams could come true
Then I'd be living my dream with you.

Dance the last waltz with me
For surely the best is yet to be.

Part 6
Memories

Memories are only a heartbeat away
Brought to mind any time of the day
Some memories haunt you, some will console
Some cause you misery, some lift your soul
But memories dreamers love the best
Are those of a love they'll never forget.

How I miss you today
Time can't take the pain away
I made myself a promise
No more tears will I shed
The promise is broken
When you enter my head.

I miss the joy of those balmy nights
Hand in hand we'd stroll under moonlight
Twinkling stars reflected in our eyes
Lost together in our own paradise
I've a memory of the look of love on your face
That nothing and no one could ever replace.

Missing kisses so deliciously sweet
Arms that are now far out of reach
The tenderest of loving caresses
Fingers run softly through my tresses
Your loving words gently spoken
My heart's now left completely broken.

We shared golden moments
Too precious to forget
You made me feel special
I have no regrets
And I will love you until the day
Time takes my very last breath away.

Part 7
In Beautiful Dreams

Beneath the silvery moonlit night
Two lovers swoon in sheer delight
It's you and me, in my dreams
The only way for us, it seems.

I am blessed this awesome night
Cradled in loving arms, so tight
Kisses from soft velvet lips
My heart's adrift in spiralling flips.

Every tender, sweet caress
Is music to my soul, I must confess
If this is Heaven, it's where I want to be
Sharing love for all of eternity.

We dance close, most seductively
Our hips gyrating so sensuously
A prelude to our night of love
In our magical world of 'wonderlust.'

Never loved like this before
My heart's become an open door
That only you may enter in
For you've stealthed beneath my skin.

Your love outshines the brightest star
Perfection to me, is what you are
Romance, the music, the poetry
All I ever desired I've found in thee.

I wish the dream would last forever
In this land of never, never
Hearts entwined always and ever
My love, my life, my golden treasure.

I want you, need you, love you so
Could never, ever let you go
You only visit here in my dreams
In beautiful dreams you reign supreme.

Part 8
One More Day

If all I had was only one more day
I'd tell you all I have wanted to say
How I've loved you from the first moment
Our eyes met and my heart was stolen.

All it takes is a few words, don't you know
For my foolish heart to melt as does snow
Though I don't see you, you're too far away
Invisible threads keep you in mind every day.

Memories are etchings carved on the mind
Of special moments they oft' times remind
Moments too precious to ever forget
Times we remember held close to our chest.

Could our hearts ever regain
The love we knew over again
Life's mystery binds me still
Always has and always will.

Nothing could ever erase your memory
Your the best thing ever happened, you see
I ask the Love Gods in all honesty
Please send my darling back home to me.

Part 9
The Final Ending

His parting words came out the blue
Reading them her heart broke in two
That was it, no more, the end
She had lost her dearest friend.

Her sweetheart would never know
His 'goodbye' had hurt her so
No way could she communicate
Denied every path that she could take.

Day after day she'd be tear-faced
Wondering how long she'd have to wait
Would he ever get back in touch
This man she'd loved so very much.

She'd sit by her window hoping to see
The face she yearned for constantly
Sadly for her the day never came
Only in dreams did he come back again.

In her heart the flame was kept burning
Hoping, dreaming of her love's returning
A flame that was kept alive
To the very day she died.

He never knew he was loved until death
On her mind as she gasped her last breath
The saddest, heart rending thing of all
'Twas the day he decided to give her a call.
