Sunny Farmhouse chapter 7


Crossing over to the other side of the long narrow road, awkwardly parked with one tire wedged into the curb was Andrew Michalson in his flash fire engine red sports car. Unapologetically grinning he said" Hey you! Need a ride?

Sarah merely able to contain the emerging chuckle that was ready to splurge out, rolled her eyes before saying "Only if I have full control and decide what we listen to"? Andrew's arm lifted and placing his hand on his chest responded by saying "are you suggesting I have bad taste in music? "Sarah Jacobs, you wound me." Andrew's playful mood had ruined any plans of Sarah's to appear frustrated for him cutting short her 'Me time'. After buckling her seatbelt Sarah began to flick through every radio station, and with her brewing laughter having reached its tipping point, she finally accepted defeat and laughed as both she and Andrew's eyes met.

Just before they sped off in Sunny Farmhouse's direction Sarah said "You are impossible to stay mad at… "Now take me home boy racer. And with the same unapologetic grin as before, that is what Andrew did.


"See? What did I tell you? "Every company or business must start somewhere; sparse numbers are to be expected in those first few months. "Said Andrew folding the paper into a small Aeroplane, throwing it, and landing into Sarah's lap. After arriving home Sarah invited Andrew to join her for coffee inside and asked for his input regarding recent profit estimations Sarah had calculated Sunny Farm would make in the upcoming weekend farm tour.

I prefer my paperwork not to be in the form of a flying aircraft, especially considering it is the most terrible paper plane I have ever seen. Andrew sarcastically belly laughed, poking his tongue out and blowing, what sounded like the soggiest raspberry. Nice comeback" Sarah said as she grimaced descrambling her wrinkled paperwork. In a split second, the change in Sarah's body language becomes clear to Andrew...
