Never ignore the red flags
I seek to understand the motivations behind our actions. When we experience joy, we feel uplifted; conversely, sadness can create a profound sense of discomfort (Proverb 17:22). we must extend our support, but this is difficult if we are unaware of your feelings. We often tend to suppress our emotions, keeping them bottled up inside. In these moments, we may find ourselves withdrawing and feeling isolated. It is important to remember that reaching out for help is not a sign of weakness.
Life can be likened to a tree that bends with the wind; it remains upright when the storms settle. However, it sways and struggles when faced with stronger gusts. It’s essential to consider why one might remain in that dark and lonely place. Like a proud tree that ultimately breaks, seeking assistance is not a trap; choosing to endure alone can lead to vulnerability. In moments of struggle, it’s not uncommon to feel small and uncertain, echoing the innocence of a child proclaiming, “Mommy, I am a big boy now; I can handle everything on my own.” Yet, in that quest for independence, we may inadvertently harm others in the process.
