MY ROOM STORY - EPISODE 7
EPISODE 7 – FRICTION
The beauty of friendship is when we fight and settle it that exactly was the case of my room. After the whole love scenario, we actually became best of friends and that did not allow for any friction between the two of us but unfortunately there were series of other frictions in the room. I know definitely that I can be annoyingly annoying sometimes, and my room was no exception, I have at a point or the other annoyed each roommate but where there is love, there is forgiveness.
I have had series of frictions with my roommates but the ones I can remember vividly were the ones I had with Kunbi, Sandra, and Florence. All of a sudden these three Queens became cold with me in the dark trying to figure out the causative agent. The coldness of these three made the room so unbearable for me that I almost lost interest in going to the room.
When I asked Kunbi what I have done to deserve the sudden cold treatment I have been getting…”I will tell you on your birthday” was what she said, I was shocked as to what would I have done to deserve me being told on my birthday (Which you will know more about in subsequent episodes).
I did not even bother to ask Sandra because she would have lambasted me in the process of telling me and so I was battling with the law of diminishing return and at the same time trying to know the offense(s) I have committed. But all thanks to mu birthday. My birthday? What happened on my birthday? How did my birthday lubricate the friction? Watch out!!!
