Letters to Momma-5- 9/11/2018

Momma,

I braved the cemetery today, it’s been 3 years since I’ve gone, it just really not my thing, but I was off work and had the time so my usual excuse was not gonna work. It’s so draining to me but I must say it was needed and I suppose worth the headache I’ve had ever since. Had a little chuckle while I was there when a worker came up to me, investigating reports of a crazy lady, I swear it wasn’t me! He asked who I was visiting and when I responded he could take his pick, pointed down the line and listed Mom, Dad, Sister, Grandma and Grandpa, the look on his face was priceless, nice guy though. I gave my love to all of the fam @ the cemetery and played a song for each of you, though I spent the most time with you Momma. Jackie decorated your spot so beautifully and perfect as she always does. I Reminisced on a lot of amazing, heartwarming, smile bringing memories along with the ones that pull on my heartstrings and it all remains the same... I have been so blessed in this life and so grateful for the love I’ve known. I cherish every moment I’ve been given and will continue to do so. We miss you so much Momma and continue to keep your legacy alive. You are with us everyday and in all we do. Had to lay down between you and Pops and take in a song, you know I like the middle best! Glad you’re mine
