Let's Not Forget Them

Let us remember these four men. Four men who sought to right the injustices this country faced and stressed the importance if unity. Where on a battlefield in town Pennsylvania ,where one of the most bloodiest battles of the Civil War was fought a man made his way to the podium. He looks out among those who had gathered there..Gathered to honor and remember those who died there. His words touched their souls as it still does today. His words bring the reasons why this country of ours was established the words …”and a government by the people, and for the people shall not perish from this earth.”
Some many years later a young man stood up on a cold January morning and uttered the words “..ask not what you country can do for you, but ask what you do for country. Eight years later a young minister had only a dream , a dream that inspired his most famous speech. His speech and dream was where all can live together in peace, unity, freedom and equality. Lastly anther young man who had a dream, a vision ,a hope and faith it could happen, faith it would happen.Faith it would happen for all and as he said many times
…” some men see things as they are and say why I dream things that never were and say why not .” These men and others like them have those dreams and seek justice and unity for our country and all her people. And it is for this reason they should never be nor will ever be forgotten, their dreams, their hopes and their visions will live on.
