Fun and Games with Ray Gunn

Raymond Gunn, Blaster of Evil and amateur golfer extraordinaire, blacked out while teeing up on the range one afternoon, and woke up to find himself in a small room with nothing but his golfing bag beside him.

Getting up, he saw the room was bare except for one wall that was lined with doors marked 1-7. A quick examination found them all tightly sealed.

As he stood wondering how to get out, the wall at the end of the room started to move toward him. Realizing he would soon be crushed, he decided to die like a man, doing so by improving his strokes. He set up his tees and began knocking balls against the doors.

Soon five of the seven doors were covered by the moving wall and only doors 2 & 1 remained clear. Gunn clouted balls against door #2 as it, also, disappeared. Sweating, he hit the remaining door with unbelievable force, knocking an opening through it.

“Great galaxies,” he gasped, “a hole in 1!” And scrambled to safety.
