Campfire Story

Jenny rested her head on the back of the bench and stared up at the sky. The letter said to find the third bench from the corner on Howard Street. She sat. All there was to do now was wait. But wait for what? As she sat there waiting, she dozed off. When she awoke, it was dark outside. The moon was out and so was the stars. A man was also sitting on the bench beside her. she now felt nervous about this stranger seated beside her. he was reading a magazine. He glanced at her and noticed she was awake. He then gave a smile and said “I’ve been waiting for you to wake up Jenny. “Now that you are awake our adventure begins”. Who are you and how do you know my name asked Jenny feeling freaked out now. My name is Ken said the man. I am the one who left you the letter. Why did you leave me the letter asked Jenny? Because you are needed said Ken. For What asked Jenny. Come with me and you will find out said Ken. Ok, ok I will come with you said Jenny. She didn’t know why but she followed Ken into the darkness into the woods nearby. She wasn’t scared at all. But maybe jut maybe she should have been terrified for she didn’t know Ken so in essence she was following a complete stranger into the woods. He had the capabilities and powers to do anything he wanted to do to Jenny if he desired to do so. In the Dark Woods Ken and Jenny walk in silence for what seemed like ages until they came upon a cave. The cave had a name. It was called “Cavern Cave”. Into Cavern Cave walked Ken and like a puppy following its master Jenny followed Ken into Cavern Cave. As soon as they had entered the cave Ken sat down. Have a seat he said to Jenny and don’t be afraid. I am not here to hurt you. I still have no clue what you want from said Jenny as she sat down beside Ken in the cave. What do I want from you? Question Ken with chuckle that sounded kind of eerie. Now Jenny felt afraid of Ken which was strange as she hadn’t felt afraid of him before. I want you said Ken. No screamed Jenny and she ran towards the opening of the cave. But she couldn’t get out of the cave. Wind was pushing her back into the cave. She could see the outside but knew she was now stuck in the cave for good. You are mine forever now said Ken. I am the only one with the powers to get out of this cave and I will keep on finding more innocent women to trap in my cave. He let out an evil laugh.

Moral of the story: Don’t follow strangers into the woods.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
