A Little Girl's Dream

One day this girl had a dream that she was performing an empowering rap on the side of the road. Slowly people gathered around until there were over a hundred people there in the one area. This girl had a passion so deep that she let people say she wasn’t good enough and still she did not give up. She committed her life to this one thing; music and helping the next generation. She knows that she can be the change the world needs. She dreams of one day when she is an influencer on YouTube and helping young people keep fighting when it is really hard when they just want to be done with everything. This girl as you may guess is me. I have always wanted to do something with music and just this past week I got an idea. This idea was sparked by Pinterest. People go on there and post themselves rapping about hard stuff to help girls and boys see that they are not alone and that they will make it. This girl’s friend had been struggling a great deal, and she stayed up with that friend just to make sure that her friend was ok. She had a heart that always put others first no matter what. Yes, she struggles, but in the end, she comes out stronger. She chooses to let things go and grow from the pain and heartbreak that she goes through. Life is not perfect and there are obstacles she’ll have to go through. They are there for a reason. The purpose is to help her to see her full potential, so she can change the world. She knows depression, stress, anxiety, and negativity can feel like they are going to annihilate them. She also knows, though, that they can be defeated. With help from friends and family, she has grown greatly in just eight months. Not only has she matured, but she has begun caring more about others more than herself. More so than ever. This girl has become more dedicated to being a friend that someone may have needed. She really does love people a lot. One day this girl will grow up to be known for being kind, supportive, encouraging, and most of light in the dark if you know what I mean. People look up to her knowing that she is a good person. She is loyal and stays true to what she says. She is only fourteen, but she knows that age doesn’t matter and that anybody can change the world. One step at a time. She wants to thank all of her friends; Jillian, Logan, Brandt, and everybody in her friend circle. And also her teacher, Teresa, for always pushing her to do her best. And we can’t forget her “sister”, Keyla. This girl knows that she was blessed and she is thankful for all of the people in her life. So she says, “thank you for all you guys do for me; for always helping me when I need it, letting me help you, and for just being you. You guys are all the best people I could have asked for. I would never replace you guys for the world. Keep doing what you do best, being amazing.” She knows that the future is bright and she can’t wait to see what she will do then. Until then she will keep being who she is; Ireland.
