Is poetry just a waste of time, a collection of words put together in rhyme.

Poets can lead also. Their troops the hearts and souls of humanity.

|
“Collaboration is a process where two or more souls work together to exchange skills & create something new. It is not a process whereby a Poet enlists the skills of another Poet, who is obviously more talented, to upgrade her-his poem in order to win a contest or be listed as best poem. This is dishonesty on part of personalities involved. It is much worse than enlisting the aid of AI. It is called artistic corruption which will not aid personal or human evolution.”

“Poetry cannot ever become a fully fledged profession if poets play games with integrity, authenticity, honesty and humanity’s agenda of evolution into the Heart Centre, from rampant competition, domination and materialism.”

Contests exist to assist us towards self-validation. When AI, as algorithm, is involved in contests they become highly suspect in such assistance. All involved in keeping a system of Contest placement in place using artificial intelligence are involved in fallacy & cannot call themselves poets. Poets, like other artists, are to advance authenticity & consciousness, not impede it. Competitive life as part of Dark Ages will therefore be maintained holding humanity back.

“My poetry is the bridge between ego and soul and as such it offers the bridge to anybody who can perceive it.”

One can even argue, that when at our best, the human heart and spirit are pure poetry. That is poetry. Like great music, art and prayer. Like Great God!

|
Some of our greatest English poets, did not rhyme anything. Poetry is a compelling sense, a feel of flare and rhythm that tingles the Soulful Spirit, setting mind and heart tunefully singing.

I think every woman should have a poem written about her

“All poems, like any other art are really co-creations within resonant fields of consciousness, so some will align with it and some will be triggered by it.” GhairoDanielsQuotes

No matter how one, slices, dices, spruces it up, puts lipstick on it, when it comes to writing poetry, AI is plagiarism...just like parts of this sentence.

|
AI should not be allowed on creative writing sites. When identified use, the writer should be banned, in an effort to keep the integrity of honest poetry free from artificial stink. AI will soon write a new interpretation of the bible I am certain. A logical interpretation, but void of spiritual essence. AI is not a tool, like an encyclopedia or text book with valuable examples of meaningful reference, it is a soulless entity that will lead to ever greater intellectual and moral depravity.

Romantic poetry is not about wisdom, truth nor lies -- it is about being fiery alive! Every word breathing, exploding with passion.

I play the fifty thousand string guitar; I'm a poet.

All poetry is an expression of what the soul is undergoing. It takes courage for ego 2 step aside & let soul present itself. This is what poets do when they step forward to present their poetry to the world. They are not only speaking for themselves. They are speaking their truths, reflecting truths of many others experiencing the same soul development phenomenon on a planet rapidly transitioning from old paradigms into paradigms which Heart represents.

When poets are too lazy or too fearful of going deep within, their judgement faculties become very strong

The great poets of the world have never patched things up with plasters. They have gone to the absolute root of issues, the cause of ills & courageously spoken & written about these with all the sharpness & beauty that language can muster. This is the challenge as Earth expands consciousness or we are just playing pastime games.

What I want from poetry is not to play games with words. It is to express aspects of life, and ideas, in ways that make them easier to think about.

My mother was not a woman. She was the reason poetry still works.

|
Every wrinkle on my mom’s face was a poem I never dared to read.

any other form, I disagree."

Poetry is just a story told frugally — almost silently, and in near-whispers. ~Nkwachukwu Ogbuagu

Literature is more than a subject; it’s a fascinating religion with gospels preached in prose, poetry and drama. ~Nkwachukwu Ogbuagu

Love is the most poetic form of addiction. And the most beautiful ruin.

|
Poetry Soup is becoming a war zone, the enemy is plagiarism with AI owning the throne.

|
Life didn’t give me answers, but it offered enough silences to make me a poet.

|
As bad as it is, it is better for the growing awareness. Maybe from the awakening, the pen mightier than the sword, us priests of poetry, the rarefied hearts of humanity, can make a positive contribution.

Fine fabric of poetry closer
the frayed edges of language, loose
threads of thought we light, to keep
from unraveling. What lasting value,
if any at all, rises in the smoke, is
sustained by memory of the lyrical
flash.

"Poetry is that craft which springs from within a wordsmith's own heart, soul, and mind." Reason A. Poteet
