What's In A Number Contest Judged

For this contest about the number 4, I decided to give 4 by 4 placements. Unfortunately some great poems didn't qualify either because they used a number other than four, didn't have enough essence of the number four, or they used the word "four" in the poem. Thanks for your participation. Don't be discouraged if you didn't get a placement. Happy writing and Leap Day!

Thanks for including me on the list. My effort to describe the actual "form" of the numeral four was not grasped by half the readers of my poem but others were able to "get it." Greg's poem described the number perfectly and was a worthy first place winner. Congrats to all the winners.(also I read some marvelous entries over the past month, and I marveled at how differently people took the challenge)

Thanks for giving it a try, Gregory. Yours turned out well and I'm glad you had fun with it. There were lots of great entries and I ended up learning more about the number four. Maybe in the future I'll let people choose any number. Blessings.
