Looks like Tommy has either packed up his old kit bag or run afoul of the Soup magistrate once again so I’ll make this blog hot again!

You'll have to go back to Earth for about a week, but you can't go back as priests. So what else would you like to be?" The second priest mulls this over for a moment and asks, "Will any of this week 'count', St. Peter?" "No, I told you the computer's down. There's no way we can keep track of what you're doing." "In that case," says the second priest, "I've always wanted to be a cool stud." "So be it," says St. Peter, and the second priest disappears. A week goes by, the computer is fixed, and the Lord tells St. Peter to recall the two priests. "Will you have any trouble locating them?" He asks. "The first one should be easy," says St. Peter. "He's somewhere over the Rockies, flying with the eagles. But the second one could prove to be more difficult." "Why?" asked the Lord. "He's on a snow tire, somewhere in North Dakota

Pretty soon we’ll be able to bring our dead loved ones back to life with virtual image holograms and talk and interact with them as if they were still alive. We’ll be able to sit at the dinner table with them, play games with them, get advice from them, share memories with them, create new memories with them, and be comforted by them. If this is something that appeals to you I urge you to take as many digital and audio recordings as possible of those closest to you while you can.

When I reflect upon employment patterns and history, seems like innovations are met with distrust and vulnerability. That's normal, I think. I've seen the workforce change in my lifetime, remembering when not too long ago when folks blamed computers for job loss. Seems like that's inevitable until mankind adjusts. I attended a leadership conference in which the focus was the moral and responsible use of AI. I guess what I'm saying is were in unchartered waters that are unfathomably frightening. With God's grace we'll befriend AI responsibly. Right now we're panicking and 'reacting.' Perhaps we need to take a step back. I also know that what I'm saying won't be favorably received.

I called an air con technician yesterday and got a “virtual assistant” called Lily on the line. She took my details and told me all their staff were busy but she assured me my enquiry was important and would take priority. No one called me back so I called again today and got Lily again who has all the people skills of a cabbage patch doll. I told her to stick her algorithms up her bot.

Scary times. I attending an in service training recently and it was about AI and documentation for clinicians and therapists. That seems crazy to me. How can that be authentic? AI is taking over the world.

We’ll have to learn to love one another and utilize/harness AI to advance our global knowledge and understanding (till God sees fit to return).

We’re doomed.

It staggers the mind to think that within five years there will probably be jobs for less than 10% of the population. To think of all the college loans going for jobs young people will never get to participate in because these careers that will be taken over by AI. I read about movies and songs being taken over as well. We can already see it here at Soup. Epstein files most likely contain the elites' plans for depopulating the world . What else will there be to even work toward for there to be a purpose in having children? Nothing has surprised me since we entered this new millennium.
