The News That Brought On The Blues

On my way to work, didn't think anything could of provoke, then I got some news, that brought on the blues.

In hearing of your passing, I couldn't but help start gasping as the pain I felt was everlasting, today I am not in the mood for any kind of thrashing.

As my Uncles passing have me asking, why is death laughing, how I wish he will stop attacking as I could do with some relaxing.

Farewell Uncle you will be truly missed, I am caught for words, I have no strength, your death has brought on the Tuesday Blues.

I am so confuse, I thought you were getting strong, I thought you would of hold on but I was wrong.

Thank you for the love, Thank you for the memories, Thank you for the friendship and the discipling that makes me want to carry on.

While joy sleeps upon our pillow, sorrow sleeps at the foot of our bed. I'm paraphrasing a quote that I first read as a teenager. Uncles are precious and death is painful for survivors. I pray you walk thru your sorrow in such a way that your own understanding flourishes and brings comfort. Time. Be gentle and patient with yourself for time does take its time. aww Patricia I am so sorry for your loss, you were obviously very close to your uncle and his sudden passing will have come as a shock. My thoughts are with you hugs Jan xx
