Edwin Hofert Biography

Hmmm. My biography is without a doubt strung here and there throughout my poetry but I can save you some time.

I was 5th of 6 children. I grew up in Iowa at a house where grass couldn't grow because of the children playing in the yard. Still I preferred to play alone. :) I'm kind to animals. I tend to love in reverse. I'll love you the moment we meet until you give me reason not to. There's more. There's so much more. Ed

Hi Edwin: Reading your blog this morning made me feel good. I will check out your contest. I am already a Lifetime member so If I was the winner I would hand it on to someone you choose since you are the benafactor. Good thoughts your way, SuZ

Suzanne I'm looking forward to getting to meet and grow lifelong friendships here at poetry soup. I am excited about this new venture. :) And while your gesture is a wonderful one I hope there's someone you know that cannot afford join that's deserving of a chance. I myself have only met a few people so far. Good luck! And it's so very nice to meet you.

Xcuse me! I can't let this one go!. I tried but I simply cannot! The above image is Edwin NOW all we have to do is "figure out" "how he got his back side in that inner tube?" I'm guessing it's a Mack Truck Tube but let us hand it to him...He is drop dead gorgeous and more importantly he can spell! LOL

Jan your absence is felt, and understood for what little I know. Never doubt how you are needed here at poetrysoup and on a personal level in my own life. And if ever I can help somehow. Drop me a hint. You won't even have to ask. I'll be there. :3 Hugs to you.

Thank you! I am waiting with baited breath to see how many see shadows as I do. Or if I am alone in my muse. I'm hoping to see you there! Ed

Hey, where in Iowa did you grow up? I am from Muscatine. Do you know it?

I know Muscatine!!!! I grew up in Marshalltown Ia. I used to deliver paint products to Muscatine. It would have been much more beautiful if I had known you were lurking around there somewhere :)

I know about pieces of our journey that are similar including the part that has yet to be written. See you at the top! :) Ed

Edwin, my poetic journey has been very similar to yours. I am looking forward to your contest, my life time membership was also gifted to me and if I should place first, I would definitely pass the gift on

Yes, it would be wonderful to be able to pass that gift to someone special, wouldn't it?
