Soupmail imposter

Blog Posted by Karen Croft: 10/8/2024 10:09:00 AM

I received a soupmail from Anita,Anita that wanted me to corresponde with her by email because she does not like social media. This person has no poems on poetrysoup. So I emailed her and she responds back with a long letter wanting me to help transfer money from Canada to the US. I am just letting people know of this scam so they can watch out for it!! Thanks, Karen

Thanks so much for the warning. I would have known she was a scammer but at least I didn't waste my time finding out!

Karen, its a scam, block her and report to TPS also. But, it is great you did this blog so we can be on the watch for her. Thank you. Constance

Dear Karen, I haven't received such a message. Seems scams like this go around at different times. It's best to ignore. Thanks for letting everyone know this is happening. Hugs, Brandy
