About Carol Sunshine Brown
(Click for Poet Info...)

This picture is of my husband and I in 1986

I  66 years old.

I gave birth to 3 beautiful daughters Cynthia, Rebecca, and Angela. Cindy has gone on to a far better place. I strife each day to be worthy of a place there with her when it is my time to go.

I have been married to my present husband Don for 30 years.

I came to PoetrySoup about 2006 at the recommendation of my sister Rose (Deardorff) Gossard. She has since left PoetrySoup.

I at one time had around 800 poems here at the Soup, but thinned them out.

I have been away from the Soup for awhile now but look forward to returning and reading your poetry soon.

Thank you for reading my tribble.

PEEKING

Blog Posted by Carol Sunshine Brown: 1/16/2014 7:14:00 AM
 Good morning my friends.
I stopped and peeked in this morning.
It has been a very long time since I have stopped by.
Many things have kept me from being with you all here and still have things to take care of.
I will stop by more now though and hopefully be here full time again.

I was here and enjoyed the quiet visit.
I see there are many many new poets.
See you soon.
Love as ever,
Carol (Sunshine) Brown

Hi Carol, I was thinking about you the other day when I visited the new poet's page. Usually I find your comments already there, and PD's and Anne-Lise's - but some new poets do not have comments and I keep thinking 'If Carol was here this new poet would have someone to welcome them'. So you see, your presence is missed.
