Greetings fellow poets and writers,
My name is Criss Tripp, and I very much enjoy writing. I have been writing for several years, but only recently just started devoting more of my time to it, as opposed to just writing on and off or here and there. I find writing to be somewhat of an outlet, whereas i can express myself more thoroughly, as well as only being able to put certain thoughts and feelings into perspective more clearly in writing, than I would be able to in any other activity. Being a writer, as alot of my fellow poets out there already know, is that being this way can feel lonely at times in part by you might be the only one who enjoys writing, whether it be in the small group of friends you hang out with all the time, your family members, the people you met at work; so at times it feels like no one understands where you are coming from or why you wrote a certain piece. I get that feeling every day and whenever I write, not only does it take me to a new place where the possibilities are infinite, but I always get that undying urge to share the art I created on paper with my words. So after looking around the world wide web, I have stumbled upon this amazing gem of a website. Now I can start to feel like I'm a part of something bigger than myself again, and share with the whole world of other writers and poets out there everything I have brought to light in my writing. I am very excited and eager to meeting more people like myself and sharing my work with all of you.
