This contest is closed now. We had quality entries in the contest. Ranking the poems was a difficult task. I liked them all, but the placements were limited. I congratulate alm of you in joining me. Those who did not get into winner list, please try in my next contest. Thank you all.

hosting a contest is not easy and its a steep learning curve, so Im sad they did that on so many levels Jay, as they must be on line i hope they find the time to reply to soup mails Ive sent them recently. hugs jan xx

I see what you're saying. They removed you from 1st place. That's too bad because it gave many of us 'better humored' poets something to laugh about. We're all human, Jay. I appreciate you for wanting to make things right, but I was fine with your original rankings.

Jay, I have never seen this happen before, a nice trophy placement and poem, well done. Thanks for adding a little fun spice to the soup! Jay, thank you for updating the winners list of your contest. It's the funniest thing I've seen on soup all week Lin - no PS rule says the sponsor can't enter and give themselves a top spot lol, at least he didn't give himself an HM! Good on you Jay I applaud you !!! we need more humour on soup!
