Hi Fellow soupers.I have been away for a while. My career and four daughters consume me. Just wanted to tell you all that today was a very special day for me. A new client came into my showroom this morning. As we exchanged introductions, she asked me if I write poetry. I asked her why, and she said that she has reading poetry by someone named Brenda Atry, on the internet, for a while now..I have a fan!!! There are people out there reading our work.. And its all because of poetry soup !!.
It is a special feeling when even one person in the world acknowledges your passion as it spills across the page... Thank you Lord!!! I'm back to work..Hope to be back with my soup family shortly. Love ya all.. Brenda

The greatest things some times happen unexpectantly. I bet you've got more fans... For every one you see, there's bound to be others... Congrats on one speaking up...It gives us a warm feeling to know we're appreciated and noticed... in life, work, and our poetry.

I never ,ever expected anything like this to happen..The writing is so personal..and I feel like I trust the soup community, so putting the words out there was like sharing with family.. Its a little scary to know that "others" are reading words that came from my soul..
