I just found out another dear poet is no longer with us. R.I.P. Rico

He’s the master of limerick quirks!
He has charmed PS with witty smirks!

His wit, quite dry,

Hits a bullseye,

That is how Rico's wry mindset works! 2022

I feel deep sorrow and grief, my dear pal,

Craving comments from a distant island,

I shall savour your poems and I shall

Miss your heartwarming presence, now silent. 2023

Yes, I was very sad when we found out that Rico had passed away, that was a sorrowful day, I miss his wit, humour and comments on my poetry, Rico you are missed, RIP dear poet, Constance

Hi Margarita , Yes my dear friend of many many years is gone . I miss him terribly. His wit and humor touched many here and in the world . Thanks for posting . Hi Darlene, Rico died of lung cancer . Luckily his daughter was able to spend time with him over Thanksgiving and was able to care for him in Hawaii during his last week . She is In grateful for many beautiful posts and tributes others made on his behalf. In gratitude, Susan :)
