Collective Human Conscious

The world is composed of a tangled web of anxious minds,
broken and paranoid neural networks, unexamined psychological drives and a collective
subconscious rage that compels the entire thinking of the human race.  Our common motivations come from unfulfilled
needs, deep-seated emotional wounds, shame, guilt, and fear of the uncertain is
what makes us work so hard, always afraid to stop moving, we are terrified to look
into ourselves, because we may not like what we find.

But quite contradictory, true human growth comes only from
within, this unique mental spirit can be described as psychological hardiness,
or a cognitive reserve of resources, one who has the courage to look deep into their
own anxiety, and examine all avenues of one’s own mind, has the capacity to
change. Some people live without rules, sociopaths who disregard authority and
hold a profound deep lack of human empathy, quite ironically, the malignant
narcissist lives a happy life in their own twisted version of reality. Imagine
viewing society as your personal property, seeing people only as tools that
should be used as manipulation to serve one’s own needs. The emotion and
experience of guilt does not exist in their conscious mind, to the psychopath,
every decision and action they decide upon is the correct one as far the result
is in their best interests.

Then there are the altruists, those brave selfless souls who
give all of humanity hope, too often the very best mankind has to offer lives
in the dark, tails of good deeds are terribly overshadowed by reports of evil
and disaster. But if indeed there is a divine being, I believe that He/She
would have created more altruists than egoists, so my hope, and point to this
essay is to provide myself and anyone who reads it with a sense of hope. The
world is not as twisted as it may seem, actually, there is so much more good
than bad in this exquisite world.
