Day two of my contest...oh my goodness. WOW, all have made it through to round two. I'm speechless, as all of you have let me into a memory that shares a part of you. I've smiled, and wept a tear or two, truly...there will be many winners, so far so good.
As my first contest, I am honored...what a connection I've made to people I'll never meet, but somehow, seem to know a little better tonight!!!! Keep on writing I'm having a ball!

Well, I took a leap, and rather watching from the sidelines I've jumped in with both feet. I've started my first contest and would appreciate any input as to how to judge, what to use as contest material, that isn't redundant. Any other input members may have as to create an exciting contest. I'm thick skinned, and take critique well.

My first poem is Ode to a friend...while i don't require a true Ode style, I'd like to have people write about their deepest memories of an endearing friend. Something that will truly move the reader. Hope you all support my first attempt at a contest...and good luck to all.

thanks for all your responses, @ Constance, thankyou, I will be nudging you with questions now and then, since you've offered...question to any of you who may hold the 'key' how do I send a soup mail? I receive them, but other than replying, I don't see how to send them?

Reads like a great topic about which to have a contest..Good luck..It is not easy..I think that judging blind that is not knowing who has written the poem is the best way..I was surprised when I found out who had written the ones in my first contest..Sara

Hi Michael ^_^! So nice to see you here on blogs :D I just viewed your contest and now I see this-- yay for that :D-- I like what you say in your bio-- we sure can make a difference (however small) in people's lives, we never do know sometimes just how much of an impact we have on others... that ripple effect sure can be amazing... looking forward to seeing more of you here :) Nice sweet pic you have, btw :) God bless you too!
