I've been a lifetime premium member for a while but only began posting my poems on PoetrySoup. I'm a writer who is figuring out her style. In the meantime, all things related to writing are fair game for me. It's been an interesting and enlightening journey, so far.

Now, for a haiku I recently wrote, titled "Blind Hope is Magic"...

Blind hope is magic

I won’t be stuck forever

Deep breath, persevere

Blind hope is my best weapon in surviving trauma and depression episodes. During depression, I’m unable to envision experiencing joy once more. The blind faith takes away my fear of never escaping that black hole. If I am patient with myself, this trick works every time.
