I've had a few poems that haven't quite stuck to the criteria.
However, within these writes, I can see how the individuals are giving some deep and meaningful thoughts. I can see how they have inspiration from their own phrase or one not listed...
For this reason, these poems will be listed in "honourable mentions" when the contest ends. Because they are still beautiful and inspirational and it will be a shame for their works to be missed.
If on reading your entry, you find that you are one of these poets and wish to place higher, you still have time to adjust your poem.
I'm just putting it out there now so that there is an understanding when my judgment is made in the contest.
