The Boy and Me

The boy and me

The boy and me shared an interest
The boy and me were both kind
The boy and me shared a connection

One that would never come to be
One that would come so close
One that would bother me for weeks on end

Sometimes we feel that certain things are supposed to happen
Sometimes these things are just a small piece in our lives
Sometimes we get disappointed by these things

Fate is a word that no one should mess with
Fate is already determined
Fate has good outcomes and fate has terrible outcomes

Life consists of fate
Life can be unfair but it can also be a blessing
Life will throw everything at you

The boy and me forgot about those interests
The boy and me remained kind
The boy and me lost that connection.
