Flowers

She wakes up in a place unknown
Confused & with a headache
She sees a boy in the bed with her, all alone

As she puts on her clothes she sees that she has bruises
They kind of remind her of flowers
She cries out, “I did not choose this”

She goes into her room all day
Missing her classes
Seeing her friends but staying away
Remembering last night little by little

The party, the drinking
But all she drank was water
Not being able to figure out the piece missing
Confused & with a headache
She falls asleep like a baby
