Love backwards
he doesn’t do the things you do
did
he doesn’t act the way you act
didn’t
he doesn’t give you what you need
needed
you didn’t notice
you gave everything to keep him
whatever you believed there was to keep
he doesn’t love you he never did
here it comes
he isn’t thinking about you now
his ties are cut
were they ever there?
your ties are made from unbreakable thread
you noticed
you ignored it
he waited
you couldn’t ignore it
he agreed
he watched you leave, desperate for you to go
you left caring more for him than yourself
that pain in the pit of your stomach never seems to fade
But
if you could love wrong so much , how much you could love right…right?
