The Perfect Day

She held the key, The old rusted door feets away. Mouldy grass stained with dirt, A cold day stood still, Waiting for the perfect beat. Her gown wiped away coloured dew, Staining the pure white. She was beautiful. Despite the way she looked, Her smell, he loved. Everything about her he loved, She was his morning And he was hers The priest joined them together An eternity band was exchanged With the I do. The slight drizzle then followed To hum the song of a perfect day.
