Even Though It Felt So Good I Gave My Heart To the Wrong Person

Love as sweet as honey was transformed into a closet of darkness
The love that was shared was the end and the beginning
This chapter in my life was severe and I discovered that
On this road of life we will come to find ourselves alone for a season

With the bright sunlight of heaven I remember that moment
Even though it felt so good I gave my heart to the wrong person
I took every fibre of my soul and placed in on her and
In the twinkling of an eye the words of truth fell on the page
This dungeon could not hold me because many
Forget that our growth is in darkness
With boldness I penned every poem about the experience
Words exploded, feelings collided and my love returned
Even though it felt so good I gave my heart to the wrong person
It is a mistake I never want to repeat again

Love as sweet as honey was transformed into a closet of darkness
I lost myself and found an innovation in the darkness
I was engulfed with flames but a wave of peace swept over me
With boldness I penned every poem about the experience
Even though it felt so good I gave my heart to the wrong person!

This is a beautiful write Lemarche, lots of folks have similar heartaches above the missed love opportunity. when I was at my darkest i found the most profound partner, who then slipped away from me as I stood up.
