Stifling Virtues

Sacrifice and selflessness they taught,
Withering feathers kept yearning for the sky,
Values with the soul, fought!

Patriarchy without their sacrificing is hypocrisy and abuse. I left Hinduism for that, & Hindus are nicer to INFIDELS and Western out-castes than to each other. But as pastor, I say the Bible also asks women to OBEY the man as her head, as Christ heads the church. No escape? Men will try to be "higher" than women for power??

Lovely line."value with the soul fought". Traditional haiku had 5-7-5 syllable count. Best wishes.
