Timelapse

Years ago I was cursed with unwanted knowledge
Months ago I sentenced myself to agonizingly crawl through unknown ground
A week ago I was the unstoppable joke and center of laugh for those strangers on different minds
Yesterday I watched my sorrow painfully burn alive
Last night I found myself consigned to oblivion
Today my soul was forced to rise up just to realize nothing had changed
Tomorrow will be a repetition of my most replayed nightmares
In a week I'll be buried underground at dead of night and never seen again
In a month I'll be far bygone
In years I'll be completely out of sight
And you still dare to say that I'll be alright

This is a very unique poem, how it goes from years ago to years in the future, and how in fact nothing ever changes.... it goes on and on and on... Welcome to PoetrySoup :)
