Torment

I am neither good nor bad
I wonder if I am doing the right thing
I see the obscure shadows embracing me with their might
I want to be human once more.
I am neither good nor bad.

I pretend to feel
Yet
I feel numb inside.
I touch my darkness.
I worry if it will consume me once more
I cry at the thought of oblivion.
I am neither good nor bad.

I understand that I am flawed
I say that I must embrace it
I dream to feel alive once more
I try to accept myself the way that I am
I hope to be in peace with myself
I am neither good nor bad.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
