Wishful Thinking

I know its been long
that we've been apart,
there are times when I wish we 
had a brand new start

As I sit and wonder what is going on
and when I get home will you be gone?

Sometimes I wish that things could of been right
I think about these things
all day and night

Baby I'm sorry for being
the way I was,
it was just things I wans't thinking of
There were just thoughts that I couldn't bear,
me being in here and you out there

Now I realize what I have lost,
being without you
I'm paying the cost

I wish I was with you and our baby girl
but since I'm not it seems like the end of the world

I think of you and I being together,
me, you and Naomi
forever and ever

I hope you're still there
waiting in the wings
that's why I think of 

Wishful Things.....
