He

I look into his eyes,
Those bright-lit blue-green eyes,
And see the soul within.
Those orbs, they draw me in,
I see the hidden sadness there,
The thoughts commencing under silk-soft hair.

He wears all feelings on his sleeve,
Easy to tell, or so it seems.
I can never figure out,
Exactly what he's all about.
Does he love me, does he SEE me?
Is he waiting, just to tell me,
That its allright, everything's okay?
Or will he just tell me "go away"?

I want to hold him, to be with him.
It'd feel like an entire millenium.
No matter how short, no matter how brief,
The moment would be, if not to keep,
Forever in ecstacy, perpetually blending,
Our souls unite; a treasure unending.

I do not know if this can happen,
I'm sure by now you're probably laughing.
But, I just want to see:
If I kiss him, will he kiss me?
Will he ever let me in?
Knocking gently, so hard to hear, if only he can.
Until I know, I'll keep on trying, again.
