My Mind's Canvas

Every Night my mind paints a picture of you,
Beautiful colors appearing blonde and blue.
Dancing and glowing like stars in my sky,
Staring down at me was a baby blue eye.
This baby blue then began to paint itself,
Grabbing every color off my mind's shelf.
As it started to paint a face took shape,
A face so perfect God couldnt create.
As my mind glanced up this face became clear,
Familiar blue eyes and streaming blonde hair
These blue eyes then connected with mine,
And the long blonde hair began to intertwine.
As it twirled and twisted frantically about,
A set of lips appeared, most perfect without a doubt.
These perfect lips then met with mine,
Creating a kiss that would only stop time.
Your midnight kisses never seem to end,
Because in my mind its so easy to pretend.
My mind is so helpless with nothing I can do
So every night my mind paints a picture of you.
