Violent Rain

While words of hate are spoken no signs of faith remain,

I never thought that one of my days would be filled with violent rain.

What was it that pushed him into inflicting such pain,

And why am I the one left with bruises, what did he have to gain?

He didn't loose what he hurt, therefore to him it was all a game.

Remorse is for the week his actions show no shame,

scared to walk away because the memories of everything still remains the same.
