The Loser Four Seats Away.
To not see the loser four seats away
gets harder and harder each day.
because everywhere I look,
there is this evil crook.
In the corner of my eye, walking by and by.
not noticing that I’m there,
while I’m fighting the urge not to stare.
the eyes tell you everything,
so maybe if I catch a glance,
I’ll look into his deep blue eyes,
and realize I still have a chance.
Or maybe if I catch that glance,
I’ll finally realize.
That what I thought we actually had,
was just a lie in disguise.
all I want,
Is just a hint,
that he even cared,
because not knowing is becoming way too hard to bear.
I never thought I’d be this hurt,
I thought I’d be okay.
But then again I always thought,
It wouldn’t turn out this way.
I should’ve done things differently
I shouldn’t be this sad,
But maybe in reality,
I’m just really really mad.
Mad about the way he did things,
mad about how dramatically things changed.
mad about the way he dumped me,
and why he couldn’t say it to my face.
I asked him all of my questions,
along with a few of my lies,
in a small folded note,
that never got a reply.
We used to talk everyday,
the loser four seats away and I,
But now we just look straight ahead,
and hurry to walk by.
I’m done feeling so upset,
over some freak without a tan.
We were together shorter than we’ve been apart,
I think It’s time I find a new man.
