When the moon arises – shining its light
And the stars are twinkling in the night
When the storm clouds rise from the blue
The love for you that I can’t hide – will always be true
When the beautiful and sexy girls cast their eyes at you
On the dance floor you will whisper, then hold them tight
They will want you but just for the night
But then they will love another but will run with flight
Because their love holds true for just one night
This poor old body may not be pretty or small
Not very sexy to look at – at all
But the love for you that’s in my heart
It has proven true right from the start

Your strong arms around me will feel just right
This feeling would last all through the night

But a lifetime of love – shining so bright
Then when I have taken my last breath
And my eyes have at last closed in death
I will love you from the grave and from heaven afar

Waiting patiently for my one true mate
Eternity will drag ever so slow
Until you hold me again as you could have on earth below
