I Watched

I watched as she slowly walked away
My heart felt heavy as I lost her that day
I don't know what went wrong
All I know is that now she is gone
I love this woman, she was all I had
My spirit is down, I feel so bad
She is wrong, what she heard isn't true
She was so hurt, but what could I do
She would not let me explain
All they wanted to do is cause hurt and pain
She looked at me and said I didn't care
But I could never love her more, this I swear
Tomorrow will be another day
I pray that then she will start to see things my way
I would never hurt her, she is just a little confused
When she thinks about it, she will know that she is being used
I loved this woman from the time we met
I am not going to let this be something that we both will regret
I will give her a couple of days, I believe that she will be fine
Then they will see, she will once again be mine
